All required firearms will need to pass through an background check through our partner FFL, Bullets and Beans in Hamilton, VA. Their auction transfer fee has increased to $35 per firearm.

Per Virginia Law, all modern firearms manufactured after 1898 must go through an FFL transfer and background check before buyer may take possession.  All firearms are transferred and picked up through Bullets and Beans in Hamilton, VATheir auction transfer fee has increased to $35 per firearm. AUCTION TERMS, CONDITIONS AND DISCLAIMERS - READ BEFORE BIDDING

The credit card that you use at registration will have a credit check performed for $19 which will show up as a pending charge from Damewood Auctioneers, LLC (Auctioneer) and will drop off after several days. Auctioneer does not hold or keep this money. If you do not want to enter a credit card number to bid, you will need to come bid in-person at the auction.

Removal & Payment

Pay and Pick-Up at 17558 Dry Mill Road, Leesburg, VA on Auction Day until 4PM, and Saturday, May 25 from 9AM to 11AM.  Payment is due in-full by 11AM the day after the auction unless prior approval has been given by Auctioneer. Firearms must be picked up by appointment at Bullets & Beans in Hamilton, VA.  Payment can be made through your emailed invoice via credit card. Any outstanding balances at this time will have the credit card used at registration charged in-full. Auctioneer reserves the right to refuse credit card payments on items with a DMV Title, and Auctioneer may require Buyer present proof of funds or perform a wire transfer on transactions $5,000 or greater. AUCTIONEER AND SELLER ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO ASSIST BUYERS IN MOVING THEIR PURCHASES BY HAND. Buyers assume all responsibility to any damage made to the property during removal.

Auctioneer offers all lots, items and merchandise sold "As-Is, Where-Is" with no warranties or guarantees either expressed, or implied. All Sales are Final. No Returns or exchanges. No Refunds. Descriptions are believed to be accurate, and when Auctioneer has knowledge of a defect, it will be disclosed. Auctioneer cannot be responsible for hidden, unknown defects, including unknown mechanical and electrical power train defects, wood scratches, cuts and stains to upholstery/seats. Auctioneer does not operate or test drive all mechanical units prior to the sale. You, the bidder/buyer must make your own decision to the fitness and condition of any item or lot and bid accordingly. Bidders are advised to attend the auction preview, or if they can not attend the preview, call Auctioneer for a condition report prior to bidding. Auctioneer reserves the right to accept and reject any and all bids. Auctioneer reserves the right to bid on any lot, or lots. Bidder should be advised that he/she may experience technical issues with bidding software, or internet glitch which may prevent a bid from being communicated to the Auctioneer. Auctioneer has sole discretion and authority to declare a lot sold, or not sold. In the event of a dispute between any one or more bidders, the decision of the Auctioneer shall be final and absolute.

Firearms

Ammunition not available for shipping on this auction. We do not ship ammo. Do not buy ammo if you need shipping.

All required firearms, per Virginia state law, will be transferred through our partner FFL, Bullets & Beans, 62 E Colonial Hwy, Hamilton, VA 20158. Email dantharp@bullets-n-beans.com, 540.441.3373. Due to parking and store space constraints, pick-up by appointment, please.

$35 for each firearm for all local firearm transfer regardless of a buyer’s FFL status
$100 shipping and packing for all long guns to lower 48 states, (additional shipping required for Alaska and Hawaii)
Pistols will be $50 for shipping and packing to lower 48 states, which includes the firearm transfer fee.

Firearms will be available for transfer on Auction Day, only after the last firearm has been sold. Buyer’s must present a printed paid-in-full receipt before firearms will be transferred. All firearms must be picked within 7 days of the auction unless prior approval given by the FFL.

Virginia Handgun Buyers: Unless you have a Concealed Carry Permit, or are sworn law enforcement, individual buyers may only receive one handgun every 30 days. Please inquired with FFL for more information.

In-Person preview available at 8AM on Auction Day. Firearms will not be available at the auction location until the day of the sale.


Buyer’s Premium & Fees

All Buyers will be assessed an 13% Buyer's Premium, 3% discount for all cash and check purchases. All purchases will be assessed a 6% Virginia State Sales Tax unless Buyer presents Auctioneer with a valid sales tax exemption at the time of payment (titled units will not have tax collected). All sales are final with no returns, exchanges, or refunds of any kind. By paying Auctioneer with a credit card, Buyers waive their right to issue a charge-back against Auctioneer.

All Bids Are Final

All bids recognized by the Auctioneer, the Auctioneers bidding app, and 3rd Party Online Bidding Platforms are final and constitute a binding contract to purchase between the buyer and the seller. Auctioneer will not remove bids on behalf of bidders. Make sure you are bidding on the item you intend to bid on before pressing the bid button.
