Payment: Items will be paid for at the Loudoun County Fairgrounds on Friday during the Equipment Sale

*Firearms will be picked up at Bullets & Beans 62 E Colonial Hwy, Hamilton, VA 20158 after they are paid for at the Loudoun County Fairgrounds. A paid invoice must be presented at Bullets & Beans in order to pick up your firearm.*


Per Virginia Law, all modern firearms manufactured after 1898 must go through an FFL transfer and background check before buyer may take possession.  All firearms are transferred and picked up through Bullets and Beans in Hamilton, VA. Their auction transfer fee is $35 per firearm. AUCTION TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND DISCLAIMERS – READ BEFORE BIDDING

  1. As-Is Sale
    By bidding in this auction, Buyers agree to purchase all lots, items, and merchandise sold by Damewood Auctioneers, LLC (“Auctioneer”) in AS-IS, WHERE-IS condition. No warranties or guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made by the Auctioneer or the Seller.

  2. Final Sale
    All sales are final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds.

  3. Disclosure & Buyer Responsibility
    If the Auctioneer has knowledge of a material defect, it will be disclosed. Buyer agrees to hold harmless the Auctioneer and Seller from all claims relating to both obvious and unknown defects, including but not limited to: mechanical or electrical defects, powertrain issues, inaccurate or defective hour meters, title brands, oil or fluid leaks, cracks in metal, surface rust, frame or unibody rust, vehicle history issues, defective heat or air conditioning, scratches, cuts, or stains to wood or upholstery, and seat damage.

    Buyer acknowledges that the Auctioneer does not operate or test drive all mechanical units prior to the auction. Buyer is solely responsible for determining the fitness, condition, and suitability of any item or lot and shall bid accordingly.

  4. Inspection / Preview
    Bidders and Buyers are strongly encouraged to attend the Auction Preview. By failing to attend the Auction Preview, the Buyer acknowledges and accepts the increased risk of purchasing an item with obvious or hidden defects.

  5. Bidding Rights
    The Auctioneer reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and reserves the right to bid on any lot or lots.

  6. Online Bidding Disclaimer
    Online bidders acknowledge that technical issues, software malfunctions, or internet disruptions may occur and may prevent bids from being received or recognized by the Auctioneer. The Auctioneer is not responsible for missed or failed bids due to such issues.

  7. Disputes & Final Authority
    The Auctioneer has sole discretion and authority to declare any lot “Sold.” In the event of a dispute between bidders, or if a bid is received after a lot is declared sold, the Auctioneer’s decision shall be final and absolute.

  8. Buyer Default
    In the event of Buyer default or failure to pay for a purchased lot, the Auctioneer reserves the right to bar that Buyer from participating in future auctions.

    If you do not agree to these Auction Terms and Conditions, do not bid on any item or lot in this auction.


BUYER’S PREMIUM, TAXES & FEES

All auction lots are subject to a 15% Buyer’s Premium, with a 5% discount for cash, wire transfer, or check payments.

All purchases, excluding titled vehicles and trailers, are subject to a 6% Virginia state sales tax. Buyers may present a valid sales tax exemption certificate at the time of payment to waive sales tax.

REMOVAL

Payment location: The Loudoun County Fairgrounds - 17558 Dry Mill Rd, Leesburg, VA 20175

Payment is due in full by 4:00 PM on the Friday following the Auction, unless prior written approval has been granted by the Auctioneer.

Buyers must provide their own labor, equipment, straps, chains, and pallets for removal. A skid steer operator will be available on-site to assist with heavy items unless otherwise noted in the item description. The Auctioneer and Seller are not obligated to assist with manual loading or removal.

Buyers assume all responsibility for any damage to property during removal. No item may be removed from the auction site until paid for in full.

PAYMENTS

Accepted payment methods: cash, check, wire transfer, or credit card.

  • Wire Transfers: Buyers paying by wire transfer must initiate the transfer by 12:00 PM on the day following the auction.

  • Credit Cards: By paying with a credit card, Buyers affirm and agree that they will not initiate a chargeback. The Auctioneer reserves the right to refuse credit card payments for titled vehicles or invoices exceeding $2,500.

  • The Auctioneer may require proof of funds for check payments or require wire transfer for transactions of $5,000 or more.

  • Vehicle titles may be held until cash or wire payments have fully cleared.

The credit card used at registration will be pre-authorized for $19 (shown as a pending charge from Damewood Auctioneers). This is not a charge and will automatically drop off after the auction.


ALL BIDS ARE FINAL

All bids recognized by the Auctioneer, the Auctioneer’s bidding app, or any third-party online bidding platform constitute a binding contract between Buyer and Seller. The Auctioneer will not remove bids on behalf of bidders.
